After years of building custom cyclorama walls for studios, Cyc Wall USA’s specific system was honed and developed. Many alternative systems were put to the test before settling on our proprietary system. Like our current competitors, we have worked with wooden framed cyc walls, metal stud framed cyc walls, and fiberglass and ABS cyclorama systems. After familiarizing ourselves with the many different systems, we realized that they were either too complicated, labor intensive, or costly.

With Cyc Wall USA’s parent company, EPS Innovation, we manufacture most of our products using High Density Polystyrene cores and CNC Machines. We decided to try this approach with our infinity walls and founds immediate success. Now Cyc Wall USA uses only USA-Made High Density EPS as the core to our system. We are proud of our product and the fact that it was developed, designed, and manufactured in the US.

Although all systems virtually look the same once installed, the installation process and materials make all the difference in how it functions.

• Fiberglass and ABS systems tend to be more expensive from the start and are a nightmare to repair if damaged.
• Hollow systems are equally difficult to repair if any cracks, seams, or holes are punctured in the wall. Repairing a hollow system is costly, painstaking, and doesn’t guarantee that the problem will go away.
• Metal and wooden framed drywall cyc walls can be very costly as well. When creating a framed cyclorama wall, you must take in to consideration that an excellent tradesman is needed to create a solid frame. If done properly, this approach takes longer and costs more. These systems also have the disadvantage of being fragile and warp over time.
