While we can build almost anything your studio may need, there are three typical Cyclorama Set-Ups used: “Straight” wall, “L” Shape, and “U” Shape.
The “Straight” Wall can be made to fit any wall length. Simply let us know what size Radius you need or we can work with you to figure out what would best fit your space.
The “L” Shape consists of 2 walls and 1 corner.
The “U” Shape consists of 3 walls and 2 corners.
We provide a large variation in Radius options, ranging from 18″ to 60″ (18″, 24″, 30″, 36″ 42″, 48″, 54″, 60″).
- For smaller studio builds, covering 30′ and under, the customary radius would be 30″ for the horizontal cove and a 42″ radius for the vertical cove.
- For a build that exceeds 30′, the typical radius would be 36″ for the horizontal cove and a 48″ radius for the vertical cove.
The larger Set-Up is a great choice for studios showcasing vehicles, while the smaller Set-Up accommodates people and smaller substantial objects like furniture. The most common Cyclorama Wall used is the larger Set-Up, as it can be used for virtually anything.

What Sets Us Apart

What sets Cyc Wall USA apart from its competitors is the Type II polystyrene core at the center of our product. Type II Foam is 75% percent more dense than Type I, therefore much more durable and resistant to damage. Type IX is up to 150% more dense than Type I. It is an optional upgrade ideal for larger studios that work with heavy props, like automobiles. Even fiberglass or high impact ABS plastic systems can’t withstand the amount of weight that Type IX can.
